unless you are paying for a 100mb connection, that is cached

Yeah, I'm not sure what connection i have, since my parents are payin for it, but how can I tell if it's "cached"

Edit: I took the download test on its own, and it gave me this message... "Sorry, your score of 98139 Kbps is over testmy.net's max of 60000 Kbps.  It is very doubtful your connection is faster than 60000 Kbps... Please RETEST"

Edit: Took the test again... this is what it got: Sorry, your score of 118023 Kbps is over TestMy.net's max of 60000 Kbps.  It is very doubtful your connection is faster than 60000 Kbps... Please RETEST

I am using internet explorer, and I was never pressing the back button to retest. I just retook the test after deleting all browser history/cookies/tempfiles all of it. I still get the general results "Sorry, your score of 99612 Kbps is over TestMy.net's max of 60000 Kbps.  It is very doubtful your connection is faster than 60000 Kbps... Please RETEST"

:undecided:

I dont have firefox, but the only firewall i have on is norton, and the windows firewall is already disabled. I disabled Norton for the test, and came up with this "Sorry, your score of 127544 Kbps is over TestMy.net's max of 60000 Kbps.  It is very doubtful your connection is faster than 60000 Kbps... Please RETEST"

Ok I deleted all browser history, and i went to the link you gave me, and this is what i got

Sorry, your score of 76111 Kbps is over testmy.net's max of 60000 Kbps.  It is very doubtful your connection is faster than 60000 Kbps... Please RETEST

Edit: After the test i went to my Temporary Internet Files, and I saw a 48,639 KB file in there. So I guess I AM downloading the file.

Also, before the test there were no files in the Temporary Internet Files folder
