ghostmaster Posted June 23, 2007 CID Share Posted June 23, 2007 Because electromagnetic waves travel best through a vacuum, just like a bullet will travel further and faster when shot through the air instead of under water. If your system is cutting out during a light rain, then you are either on the fringe of your satellite's footprint, or your system isn't aimed and or mounted properly. It takes a hell of a storm to knock me out. That goes for Hughesnet, and DirecTV.
