Btw , my sync. rate has risen with the modem router , up from 2.8 on USB to 4.0 Mbps

and download speed tests have risen from 1.7 Mbps to 2.7Mbps

my line adaptive rate after 3 days has kicked in , and  the speeds are ramping up OK ,

and should settle at 3-3.5 Mbps  which with  adsl in the UK is OK  ,

so another + bonus ,
