starship_troopers Posted July 15, 2007 CID Share Posted July 15, 2007 i would say go with the acer, but no battery...that makes me say go with the other one. either way, dont expect to do anything like gaming on them... that acer is better, but it is a celeron which imo sucks. and it has no battery. the dellis old and very low specs. but has the battery... resopalrabotnick Posted July 15, 2007 CID Share Posted July 15, 2007 i'd say sbatch the one with the battery too.lappy replacement batteries are expensive. unless of course you are planning to run it stationary on the charger...
Xx Mazza xX Posted July 15, 2007 CID Share Posted July 15, 2007 I'd go with the acer.
justinlay Posted July 16, 2007 CID Share Posted July 16, 2007 the acer. you could see if you could find a cheap battery on ebay??
Swimmer Posted July 16, 2007 CID Share Posted July 16, 2007 I looked up the model on ebay, atleast what was provided, and no batteries were listed. I would also go with the acer... The celeron is going to have pretty power management, assuming you can get a battery, when compaired with the old dell.
