My fios is having trouble running programs, like my e-mail my home page and any program that runs automatic updates. The weird thing is my speeds are fine though please help.

Your MTU could be wrong, if you had cable previously, and made no changes..

Go here, and run the optimizer.  http://www2.verizon.net/help/fios_settings/optimizer/  ...Reboot, and then retry the applications that were giving you problems...Also run another speed test.

I tried this it was already optimized.

If email and browsing are affected, and you know your speeds are good, it sounds like software trouble.  You may want to clean your computer as a first step.  Try a spyware scan, virus scan, and ccleaner.

This is the first thing i did to no prevail.
