joserizal Posted August 10, 2007 CID Share Posted August 10, 2007 We are using Netword Address Translation (NAT) . If you want to host a site using SMART BRO try using tunnelling by go6.net using IPV6 protocol. just create an account there and you will be given IPV6 public address... (SixXS IPv6 to IPv4 and IPv4 to IPv6 Website Gateway) and already tested using windows 2003 and linux. http://ipv6gate.sixxs.net/
fr0stbound Posted August 10, 2007 Author CID Share Posted August 10, 2007 didn't quite understand that.could you translate in plain english? i don't want to host site, just forward ports for p2p clients(torrents)
snip07 Posted August 10, 2007 CID Share Posted August 10, 2007 I think it not possible to forward ports for us smartbro users coz our ip address are like in a lan connection 192.168.x.x we only get shared ip addresses, dunno maybe there's a way. if there's a will there's a way! fr0stbound Posted August 10, 2007 Author CID Share Posted August 10, 2007 its called pfconfig. i really can't trust a cracked version of that program since what it does is open a hole in your internet security.
