Devolt Posted October 3, 2007 CID Share Posted October 3, 2007 Was downloading a large file during the 3-6am period the night before last, and came in to check on it only to see dismal speeds (under 1kb), so I figured I'd power-cycle it. When I plugged it back in, only the power light came on, and nothing else. Since then I've tried to power-cycle it numerous times to no avail. I only get the power-light, and nothing else. Any ideas before I waste a few hours with support???
granpa Posted October 4, 2007 CID Share Posted October 4, 2007 I have had 2 DW7000's that did the same thing. Luckily I was under warranty and they were replaced within 5 days. Looks like time to get another modem, preferably a clear used DW7000.

I never did own a dw6000 nor the 7000, so granpa could be right
tommie gorman Posted October 4, 2007 CID Share Posted October 4, 2007 I never hit it either.(FAP) But I never heard of it being that low before. Not "1" kb.

Both modems went bad and I did call tech and they had me try to get into the modem through the command prompt window and nothing. Can't remember the script used.
