6mbps/384 package higher upload now?

i have seen on the internet recently that some people are saying their comcast internet 6mbps down/384kb up package has had their upload speed increased to 768kb is this true? and if so why might i now have that upload speed yet?

If they did raise the upload, that haven't raised it in Houston yet. I've had the 3000/384, 5000/384 and now the 6000/384 packages over a span of almost 4 years now.

I'm on the 6mbs/384k plan, but my speed test results are crazy for some reason....

i was getting about 3Mbps download but it all of a suddent went up around 10Mbps, and thats constant to.

my upload stays around there..though ive had things upload on FTP around 1.5-2Mbps
