ninjageek Posted December 2, 2007 CID Share Posted December 2, 2007 As you my fellow posters are out and about shoping. If you can afford it. Stop by and take a name from the christmas tree, and buy something for someone who may recieve nothing. I had a friends last year that had to depend on that one. I am telling ya. Her kids were so happy that "santa" made it after all. They were afraid they would be skiped this year. After seeing what a HUGE help this is for thoes with little or no money. I go out of my way every year to get a name and somehting cool for a kid. Normally I get a super cool radio controlled car for a kid. I just hope if you can afford it. Get a name from the tree. The diffrence it makes is unbeliveable. Hope this post is ok. I am not preaching or telling you how to live. Just something that means so much to me. God Bless

granpa Posted December 2, 2007 CID Share Posted December 2, 2007 I went out back to the Christmas trees and I only found my cat waiting for his gift of feather. I guess I need to look to the mall. Good suggestion ninjageek.

I was thinking of something like this http://theyreourchildren.blogspot.com/2007/11/mission-monday-angel-tree.html but I don't think it can be found everywhere.Various organizations may do this in your area.
