t_fox Posted December 31, 2007 CID Share Posted December 31, 2007 So I guess the slow speeds I was getting was because of the router - doesn't make sense to me. My roommates were not home when I had the router up, therefore they were not using the Internet. Any ideas of what to do? Router is two or three months old. Thanks. coknuck Posted December 31, 2007 CID Share Posted December 31, 2007 I live in Northern Kentucky. Where are you doing your tracert from? t_fox Posted December 31, 2007 Author CID Share Posted December 31, 2007 I am from Louisville - I have no idea. I hooked the router back up and it seems like a lot better for whatever reason.
coknuck Posted December 31, 2007 CID Share Posted December 31, 2007 I think your having line problems or Insight is doing maintenance in your area.
t_fox Posted January 15, 2008 Author CID Share Posted January 15, 2008 How do I know if I am having line problems? Do I have to call Insight and ask. If so, I am not looking forward to that - they will give me the run around like always. There is no firmware update for my router, so it shouldn't be my router. Like I said the router was bought in September.
