derek22x Posted February 22, 2008 CID Share Posted February 22, 2008 I guess this would help: Choose File > Print, and then choose Add Printer from the Printer pop-up menu. Step 2 Click IP in the toolbar of the dialog that appears. Step 3 Choose the appropriate printing protocol from the Protocol pop-up menu. Step 4 Type the IP address or DNS name for the printer in the Address field. Step 5 If your printer requires it, type the queue name for your printer in the Queue Name field. If you don
dlewis23 Posted February 22, 2008 CID Share Posted February 22, 2008 Have you updated to 10.5.2 yet?
derek22x Posted February 22, 2008 CID Share Posted February 22, 2008 Does 10.5.2 works seamlessly now? I mean Leopard in general. The first time I installed Leopard on my macbook, I got a sad mac face.

The first time I installed Leopard on my macbook, I got a sad mac face. I have Leopard installed on a new macbook pro, and a iBook G4 PPC w/ no problems. Never had any real issues on either one, even before the updates. My only complaint is the Java issues.

But 10.5.2 fixes quite a bit of things tho, especially with networking, also allows you to download a graphics update that makes a huge difference. dlewis23 Posted February 23, 2008 CID Share Posted February 23, 2008 update it too 10.5.2 then plug the printer directly into the computer, and run software update. Leopard will find the drives automatically for the printer. Does it work on any other computer? One thing too keep in mind is it just may not work because netgear has never tested it, and tried to get it too work with a mac. I have tried one for linksys and I couldn't get it too work with OS X and linksys told me that it just wont work with a mac.
