starship_troopers Posted May 15, 2008 CID Share Posted May 15, 2008 Hello, I have a laptop, a Dell Latitude. It runs Windows 2000. I have everything enabled in device manager, network connections, etc. but my wireless wont connect. When i go into the network connections my connection for wireless (Local area connection 2) crashes and i have to wait for my box to reload windows. I have windows 2000 sp4 wireless card is "Intel® PRO /wireless LAN 2100 3b Mini PCI Adapter" Everything is enabled, i just cant get it to setup compltely without it crashing. any ideas Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Wireless on 2000 is totally useless unless you are using a client to manage the connection, and there really isnt one built into 2000. There are a few free generic ones around that should help.
