nurseryboy Posted November 9, 2009 CID Share Posted November 9, 2009 Ugh.. my speeds here in Myrtle Beach are horrible. Your connection is: 3711 Kbps or 3.7 Mbps You downloaded at: 453 kB/s You are running: 65 times faster than 56K and can download 1 megabyte in 2.26 second(s) Member Ident:Username:nurseryboy CompID:901007748357 Test Time:: 2009/11/08 - 9:06pm Test Browser and OS info: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Test ID: 6T40HFVUS (if this is a screenshot go to testmy.net to see if this is fake) Diagnosis ^info^: May need help : running at only 65.51 % of your hosts average (rr.com) This was tested from a 4096 kB file and took 9.042 seconds to complete I'm on the 7 Mbps plan (which is the "Standard" package, and costs $54.95/mo (seems kind of high)). I have the automatic test running every 3 hours, and haven't gotten anything above 4.8 Mbps down.. I called them once already and they said these speeds are to be expected. Is this the case, or were they giving me some BS? The only other plan they have above this is the "Turbo" 10 Mbps, but I'm not sure I want to pay more if I'm not getting what I'm paying for to begin with. XxBodomxX Posted December 23, 2009 CID Share Posted December 23, 2009 Great score for 15 down 700kb up turbo plan, eh? Tech guy better fix it or I think I might explode! Of course I say explode for lack of appropriate words to use of how I actually feel.
