What should I do to seed once I transfer the file? Please give me instructions...thanks.
mudmanc4 Posted August 19, 2008 CID Share Posted August 19, 2008 I would say you need to open a certain port in the router , check in the preferences of the torrent program. Other systems cannot connect, your router is blocking them.
crapsound Posted August 20, 2008 Author CID Share Posted August 20, 2008 I'm using Bit Torrent, so you're saying I should change the port?
mudmanc4 Posted August 20, 2008 CID Share Posted August 20, 2008 I'm using Bit Torrent, so you're saying I should change the port? I think if you go into preferences, and look around then you can " test " your connection, and it will tell you which port to open. Then again, i havent used that prog since suse 10.3 was out there. mudmanc4 Posted August 20, 2008 CID Share Posted August 20, 2008 I wrote a small guide as to port forwarding in two different ways for torrent clients, it can be found at torrent port forward guide
