StingRayZ Posted September 20, 2008 CID Share Posted September 20, 2008 hi, Just wanted to get some opinions on these monitors that I have been looking at. Dell E228WFP DELL SP2208WFP DELL ULTRASHARP 2208WFP I do lots of image editing so color accuracy and contrast are the most important. I will be calibrating the monitor though. Does anyone use any of these LCD's or what would you recommend for a 22" LCD? Thanks in advance.
ghostmaster Posted September 20, 2008 CID Share Posted September 20, 2008 We've bought a lot of 2208WFP models, but I don't think they're ultrasharp. They have a strange color palette, red are too pink, blues are too light. Lots of controls though, so you might be able to calibrate them. The 20" model has excellent color though. AlucardHS Posted September 20, 2008 CID Share Posted September 20, 2008 http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010190020%201309822582%201109917865&bop=And&Order=RATING (why doesn't this forum do Auto URL?) That's a list of the top rated 22" monitors from NewEgg. Unless you have some contract with dell that you have to buy their stuff.
StingRayZ Posted September 20, 2008 Author CID Share Posted September 20, 2008 Thanks for the help. I ended up going with the LG L227WTG. It had good reviews and seems like a good monitor. My only worry is about the poor rap that TN panels get. Anyone here have this monitor?
AlucardHS Posted September 21, 2008 CID Share Posted September 21, 2008 If you get it broken or damaged of any kind. Send it back to NewEgg and they will give you another one the same model or you can ask for something else.
