BRO's started acting weird since last midnight until now...the problem maybe their base stations. Emailed them this afternoon regarding this matter. Well I'm hoping they'll do the repairs fast this time.

[ btw CHEZ, how do you do the color coding stuff? SOLUTION: CHANGE YOUR COLOR CODE. 1. login to canopy webpage thru 169.254.1.1 (default) 2. click "Configuration" 3. click the "Radio" tab 4. in the color code box, replace the current value.. 5. click "Save Changes" 6. click "Reboot" 7. wait for your canopy antenna to reboot and then close your browser. if you like, restart your computer or disconnect then reconnect your lan to make sure the changes will take effect. 8. do a speed test http://www.testmy.net/speedtest/d_load.php and post the result. dexter123xxx Posted November 13, 2008 Author CID Share Posted November 13, 2008 why is it that when i color code i get only 82 as my only code? when i try other codes the connection will be connectivity or limited. grrr.. coolbuster what's the solution of my prob!? ive done all the tweakings but its no use. coolbuster2007 Posted November 13, 2008 CID Share Posted November 13, 2008 probably, your canopy sm does not have a roaming capability which means that you are locked to color code 82. that is why when you attempt to transfer to other color codes, either you get no connectivity or limited connectivity. when you are able to roam, you can easily transfer from one color code to another. unfortunately, only the higher smartbro tech support can change that status. we'll try to find some other ways to help you improve your connection. please post a screenshot of your AP Evaluation page. coolbuster2007 Posted December 6, 2008 CID Share Posted December 6, 2008 here's how to change the color code fr0stbound posted this but i can't find the main post first, check if you can access your canopy homepage. look here http://www.testmy.net/t-18616 1. when you've accessed your homepage, click Tools, then AP evaluation. 2. look at the bottom of the page and click Rescan AP 3. look for a good AP. one that has a low jitter (preferably 1 to 4) and a high RSSI (preferably 500+). when you have done that, take note of its color code. 4. now click Configuration, then click Radio. Enter the color code of your selected AP where it says "Color Code" 5. click "Save Changes" then click "Reboot".
