I am unsure why you are using 80 for ftp as the normal port is 21. 80 is http port. Are you serving a website? I think it would help if you explained what exactly is suppose to happen and gave an example.

Yes I am. That is what I used in the past I just don't know what is going on this time. I suspect the same thing that is going on with my DreamWeaver knowledge I had 8 years ago....It went out the window :D

Router or software firewall might be blocking alternate port you are using. Can you see the port open on a internet port scan? Have you made an exception for the port in windows firewall? Is your router configured to forward that traffic on 8080 to your internal ip?
