mudmanc4 Posted December 3, 2009 CID Share Posted December 3, 2009 Not knowing which tweak I'd say system restore. Details please? Your right, but I think he means this one. Hi, I did this tweak, but I lost some speed instead of gaining, how do I undo it? Since you actually lost speed, you could try and do several things, first , edit the file yourself ! Just change a few things, experiment a little. What i have noticed that usually makes a big difference, if the TCP window, and the receive window . I know there are formulas, but Iv'e never used them, i just take a basically close package , and start messing with it until i get something that works decent. Kind a like the better half Try this, change the receive window , or "rwin " to double what it is now. Reboot , and do several tests. Leave it alone for a while , unless it's aweful, then you still have the numbers, go back.
VanBuren Posted December 30, 2009 CID Share Posted December 30, 2009 Hi, I did this tweak, but I lost some speed instead of gaining, how do I undo it? Hello all you have to do is 1. Open cablenut adjuster 2. erase the value of 65535 in the field DefaultSendWindow 3. click save to registry 4. Reboot your PC.
