I'm currently using wireless to the router in the house, which is wired through a device to an antenna on the roof, which is aimed at a receiver about 600 feet away. Not sure where it goes from there. Thinking of switching to the local cable provider. And probably use ethernet to modem as the house is wired for CAT5 in a lot of rooms. Pgoodwin1 Posted February 11, 2015 CID Share Posted February 11, 2015 Hi from SW Ohio in the US. I'm quite sure the cable would be better, but I've never had an antenna hookup for Internet service.
