Internet fluxs for hiccup conection.

Hello good people, I am at my wits end here and are hoping I can get a answer here. I'm work Comcast and paying for Blast internet and lately my net seems to die out for a bit. Just long enough for it to say loose any sort of connection with vidoes or streaming. Even downloading a file like say a grapic card update seems to die out and have to redo.

The big problem here is before, when my father and I were renting a router/modem combo from them, the net worked all fine and dandy like candy and all that. Getting a speed of 110-118 download speed. We chose to buy our own modem and router to try and save some money as well as get out from the TV portion since we hardly used it. Now we get 90 MBS at best. And it seem to even stay fluid. I even tried out the speed test here, the test couldn't even finish due to that small dip out. So I'm at a lost.

Current we are using a SURFboard modem. SB6121  and a belkin wi-fi N router G54/N150.  Is there anything I can do to fix this or am I being strong armed by Comcast?

Have you insured something within your network is not causing the issue, by removing as much of the internal network as possible, such as bypassing the wifi unit, even disconnecting it completely for time being.

Check all terminations making sure nothing is lose or defective

Test directly from the modem, are the results the same?

Reset any custom modem properties

Run a modem reset, 30-30-30 : while powered on, hold the reset button for 30 seconds, while continuing to hold the reset button, remove modem power, continue to hold the reset button for 30 seconds, introduce power to the modem and continue to hold the reset button for an additional 30 seconds.

This modem doesn't really have a reset button on it, so I can't really do that. At best I can power-cycle it but it didn't seem to help any. I did check the cables and made sure they were all on and sung. Only have one splitter being used. And that is just for the the range. Two computers are connected to the cable net which are my pc via Ethernet cable and my dad via wi-fi. I have been looking at the router it self in terms of config and see a lot of errors.

There was more, but  trying to reset it caused to loose the majority of logs. Which all and all look about the same. Error codes and all at random every day.

And these are the signals.    Once in a wile the 3/4 would get -1 on the power level. But go back to normal. I'll go check to see if the modem it self will connect and let you know.

Well I tried connecting to the internet via modem alone, didn't get nothing going for it. And then I see the stuff I posted didn't work all that well. So I'll attach some images instead to make it easier. Sorry about that, it seemed to look alright before I posted. But I suppose looks can be deceiving.

If you disconnected the router and connected your pc directly to the modem you would have to power cycle the modem to have internet access also you can reset factory defaults on the modem it's in the config pages your looking at for the signals if you do that the modem will download the firmware from the isp

I have tried doing that before, to see if that would help. I could perhaps try it again, if I were to do it as you say? Modem by it self after power cycling and then reset it to the default?

Also this is how a test looks like when I do so, sometimes having to reset the size on the third test at least five times on a bad day.

Don't know if it helps with anything, but any information that would help with this problem. Connection is so very picky, not even a update for iTunes can finish.

Well I power-cycled the modem and reset to factory default, still acting the same as before. So now I'm just kind of lost at what to do.
