My ISP provider is Comcast and they say I get 4000 Kbps down and 384 Kbps up? Anyway, I dont know why I am getting such a wide difference in broadband rates wtih my antivirus on and then off and can some one please help so that I can keep my virus-scan on and still get a good broadband rate. Oh, I have a 800 MHz processor and 384 megs of ram. I defrag weekly, get rid of all spyware programs weekly. I just dont know what the problem is please help. Oh, yes I am connect to a wireless home network where my cable modem is connected to the router (linksys WRT54GS). Also, I have another computer located in another room who's broadband rate isn't effected by turning the antivirous program on and off? Yes, it is the same antivirus program.
