CLI to do a speed test

Recommended Posts

Hello, I just found this site and its fantastic. Using wget and a well known speedtest site on my headless rpi (hardwired to router) suggested a download speed of 5 meg. Using testmy on my phone (WiFi connection) gave me the 70meg speed that I'm supposed to have so I'm a very happy bunny.

I'd like to be able to run a testmy check on the rpi using the command line interface/ bash. Please can anyone tell me how to do that?

Many thanks in advance.
