Hello

We believe it was a good choice for TMN to choose a Nairobi Server in Africa for the people of the world to test.

There are more than giraffes in that country.

The state of digital in Kenya in 2024

  • There were 22.71 million internet users in Kenya at the start of 2024, when internet penetration stood at 40.8 percent.

  • Kenya was home to 13.05 million social media users in January 2024, equating to 23.5 percent of the total population.

  • A total of 66.04 million cellular mobile connections were active in Kenya in early 2024, with this figure equivalent to 118.7 percent of the total population.

The population of Kenya was 55.65 million in January 2024

My computer has some bugs.

I have to ask a computer technician to fix it because Latency for Nairobi in under My London, GB - Response Time.image.thumb.png.6128343cf1d1b3fcd58342306def9b51.png

Just to to remember dolphins first lived on land before going to the ocean and we all come from Africa,
I am happy to already have Fiber Optics in my area surrounded by the ocean mamals and fish and we like rock and roll like the
Great White - Once Bitten Twice Shy.

Everyone have a good weekend.

I'll correct that, I didn't update the old My RT program with that mirror's information yet.  Thanks for catching that.

That mirror is slightly different than the rest, not built into My Latency by default... unless you select that mirror, then you'll see the option.  It was donated by WaveX ISP in Kenya, I own all of the other servers.  Donated, but it's a full TMN server I maintain... first one.  -- it also doesn't appear in the legacy multithread test right now.

Latency to SA and Nairobi is 200ms.

Ping statistics for 102.217.156.1:
    Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
    Minimum = 200ms, Maximum = 201ms, Average = 200ms

We don´t want to wake up the anyone in africa therefore our internet speed now is 30/30Mbps.

Congratulations !
Young and responsable man Thank You for The Worldwide Service.

Observation:

DSLReports is almost dead like Bela and have only one server in Switzerland Maybe the Giants ISP and donors of DSL don´t want the costumers to know the truth

Bela Lugosi was the actor with Dracula's role in many old terror movies... he went down a self-destruction spiralI

I Hope some of the new TMN subscribers will help you with €1.00 (one) to Maintain the Servers Alive.

Keep up the amazing work on this plannet.
Halloween is coming and I will think of something

The latency In the near future, with Google, other Fiber Optics might be a little better. The father of Fiber Optics was" Narinder Singh Kapany" born in India.

The inventor of the e-mail was 14-year-old "Shiva Ayyadurai" and was also born in India. Today has 4 PhD at MIT.

I Love it

Hello from studio G

Did you know that Panari Ice Skating ring in the heart of Nairobi offers Wi-Fi for visitors?

We hope they will not introduce 60GHz frequency because it interferes with oxygen molecules.

Did you made a latency test test to Africa?
California,US should have higher latency because of the distance.
