nickg Posted March 24, 2005 Author CID Share Posted March 24, 2005 as long as you are within the designated area from the CO. other than that all Verizon DSL customers can now upgrade their service at the same cost if you have the $29.95 a month plan. i've had the 1500/384 service since december and found out last night that all eligible Verizon customers can upgrade and still keep the same price. i called first thing this morning and they told me it would be up and running within 24 hours. i got home about 6:30 PM tonight and checked and everything is up at the new speeds. WOOHOO!!! :D

I don't believe Hawaiian Telcom has taken over the DSL side yet. 1-800-567-6789 Ask for billing.
MttFrog13 Posted July 16, 2005 CID Share Posted July 16, 2005 as long as you are within the designated area from the CO. I was wondering about that, i live in the middle of nowhere in a town of 2,500 on the water. But i am qualified for 3.0mb, i think there is a verizon building somewhere close but im not sure what it is. I must be a lucky one.
VznPro Posted July 26, 2005 CID Share Posted July 26, 2005 Hawaiian Telecom has taken the service over, however, Vzn is still maintaining and supporting the networks for a few more months. I'd give the upgrade shot a try, though most of the customers in the west are limited to 1.5.
