fikester Posted March 25, 2005 CID Share Posted March 25, 2005 http://www.thedatabahn.com/index.html I'm guessing more providers will mean better service?
REH Posted March 25, 2005 CID Share Posted March 25, 2005 Well their upload seem to be much better than direcway, I wonder if they really do stand by their word? -REH
fikester Posted March 25, 2005 Author CID Share Posted March 25, 2005 If a company could market something that works as advertised....they would dominate the market. It must be near impossible task for satellite? I guess its easier to lie and make excuses if it all pays the same?
iced98lx Posted March 25, 2005 CID Share Posted March 25, 2005 $399/month for 200kb up? For $10,000 i can have fibre ran out here and we can have 5mbps dsl @ 54.9/month.. three years and it's paid for itself plus we have no latencey.. it's excellent idea for people who really can't no matter what get broadband, but i don't see it replacing direcway yet.. they don't have a field of installers even.. they need to make it so you can use direcway dish and hook they're reciever up as an added bonus for switching... something to make people pay $20/month more for 20kb more up. chris

WebUser Posted March 27, 2005 CID Share Posted March 27, 2005 Yeah, I wasn't too impressed with their pricing. Seems like they're targeting businesses and not residential. Is there a section on here anywhere yet for WildBlue? . .
