jeffc52053 Posted March 27, 2005 Author CID Share Posted March 27, 2005 Adelphia does claim 4000/384, but after subtracting overhead and allowing for available bandwith (very early A.M is faster) I usually hit better than 3000 most of the time. bwt1953 Posted March 27, 2005 CID Share Posted March 27, 2005 I'd say your download looks good for a 4Mpbs connection, what is your upload doing? Your trace is clean except one tiny little bump between you and the gateway. That's the same place I'm having problems, loss as high as 24% at times. All my coax checks out good, but I'm going to string a new line to their box just to make sure. Adelphia won't own up to having network problems.
