The radio is in the grey box. Yeah, the last one I had was 900, but I think the tech told me this one is 2.4GHz. I now have line of sight open sky to the transmitter. falco Posted April 19, 2005 CID Share Posted April 19, 2005 I'm in Alberta, Canada and my antenna doesn't need line of sight. I'm about 17 miles from the nearest tower but it works pretty good. I get about 1 mb download and around 450 kbps upload. The provider is a small independent with about 250 subscribers. I pay 35.00 a month.
