Verizon's speeds, as we know are 1.5 mbs download, and 436 kbs I believe. (They made it a note not to provide that information anymore.)

Service provisioned will be up to 3.0 Mbps based on Verizon line qualification requirements.

That could be it, I don't know.

I have done everything provided and yet it still won't let up.

I have made alot of modifications and it's possble a few errors might of popped up here and there, so maybe I should just reformat?

Linsys USB Wireless-G Adapter with Speed Accelerator and a BEFWS4V4 Linksys Wireless Router (Wireless-B) No encryption, all optimized to the max, virus scans, etc. As I said before, I've done everything you've provided and yet that upload speed is terrible, and as it is... Important to me.

If you need anymore information, please feel free to ask.

Thank You

Oh and, the reason why I have a sucky sucky USB is because if I try to install a PCI I'll have an unusual IRQ conflict that can't be fixed that will not allow me to even think about getting my PC started, or I need more power.  :angry3: )

Please Help, and Thank You!

Well, You could always try tweaking further with cablenut, but to be honest i doubt it'll help. Reason being is because wireless, and usb alone are 2 separate speed reducers. Togeather... well you see the results. wireless is a 'gimme' because it has to travel to and from " wireless ". USB itself isn't good for broadband because it cant handle the amount of data as quickly as a NIC ( network interace card) card can.

I personally just ran 150 ft ( 25 cents a foot :D ) of CAT5 ethernet cable from the router on 1 end of the house to my room, to eliminate the wireless all-togeather.

~ if you dont use a dialup modem, remove it and put your NIC card in there.

What wattage is your power supply?

The 350w average I guess, I haven't modified it yet. Any idea where to check that? I have no access to the back of my PC btw.

I can't run a wired network, and I tested direct feed from the DSL Modem too it's the same.

Thank you for the quick reply btw.

Yeah, and I removed my PCI graphic's card (GeforceFX 5200), and the 56k and tried it and it was a no go, that's when I thought it was an IRQ conflict that's hates one of the startups.

My cablenut is optimized specifically for my connection advertised. Always has.

Do you have an onboard NIC card? Because iv seen where that one would have to be disabled in the bios to use a PCI card, but if you had an onboard one im guessing you wouldnt need the pci card lol..  I realy have no idea why the computer wouldnt boot with a pci nic card other then that reason, the bios detects 2 lan options.

I'm running, very slightly faster then my advertised speeds!

Thank You all, and now I shall try going for that PCI NIC Card, if that makes any difference. (Although, the only thing I'm real worried about is Packet Loss, but I get 0 of that too. hehe!)
