Leave them on and not worry, turn them off, turn them off and unplug or what. If the power goes out then comes back on, then I will usually leave my computer off until the weather calms down. If you keep turning your computer on and off within a few minuter you could run into problems. Actually I might not, all I know is the computer and everything is plugged into a powerstrip, but I'm not sure if that powerstrip has a surge protector . I hope to god I don't get punished for my ignorance . Mom, Dad and then 5 kids and I think that if we unplugged all the TV's and shut down all the computers during T-storms we might just drive each other crazy before the storm was over .
