cak46 Posted May 13, 2005 CID Share Posted May 13, 2005 Whenever your computer asks for the 200 cd, browse to Windowsoptionscabs Try the installation again and browse to that directory when prompted for the 200 disk, if that is the disk it prompted for. cak46 Posted May 14, 2005 CID Share Posted May 14, 2005 Lets try to install the driver that I pointed you to. You need to download and run that program. Save it to your desktop and read the instructions for installation on the web site carefully. Each hardware manufacturer has a little different way of installing their drivers. Especially take note of the temporary directory where the driver is "unzipped" to. This is where you point the installer when your prompted for a location for the driver files. Sorry I can't be more specific on the install instructions. If it asks for the windows 2000 disk, point it to the c:windowsoptionscabs, or the c:winntoptionscabs or the c:I386 directory. Each of these directories may or may not exist on your system.

cak46 Posted May 15, 2005 CID Share Posted May 15, 2005 Here is a link for the new windows installer. Make sure you are running service pack 3 or above (required for this version of installer) prior to installing it. Check your version by going to Start>Settings>Control Panel>System http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=5fbc5470-b259-4733-a914-a956122e08e8&DisplayLang=en
