Alot more secure and what i think is that i am really supprised that all the hackers havent exploited alot more wholes as like they did when XP first came out. I think Microsoft are finally going on the right track after all these years, especially since they have like 90 percent of the market lol. It would be interesting how linix would do if they had 90 percent of the market and how many holes would be found. lol

Blunted 2 Posted March 18, 2007 CID Share Posted March 18, 2007 I dont see how you are running that fast when Comcast doesnt even offer those speeds if you read around its the powerboost comcast offers and doesnt last the whole download and stops after a small amount of data is transfered and then drops back down to the normal 8 mb. bryanlautt Posted March 19, 2007 CID Share Posted March 19, 2007 it could be worse right? Yeah i guess your right, i can remember just a few years ago when i was on dialup back in 1998 through 2002 now that really sucked lol waiting an hour just to download a 16 meg file or even 20 min just to download a song lol So yeah looking back at that I dont think that none of us should complain about our speeds assuming that most everybody on the net now has some sort of high speed. I can remeber when i was so excited of getting the dual ISDN line a whole 128kb lol smoking lol
icg1032 Posted March 19, 2007 CID Share Posted March 19, 2007 Oh yes, how well I remember when I got my first 14.4 modem. I couldn't believe how fast it was, then the 28.8, etc. Then I went to ISDN, oh my goodness, I was flying. Then I went to ADSL and I was in heaven. Now I have my beautiful Comcast speeds. I was chatting with a tech person in Manila and they have 100Mbps speeds. I can't even begin to imagine what I could do with that.
