FallowEarth Posted June 5, 2005 CID Share Posted June 5, 2005 In the last couple of days, spam has been sent out from RR domains to RR customers. These messages will be sent from such addresses as admin@division.rr.com or security@division.rr.com among others, where division = your geographic location. The content of these messages may tell you that this is your last warning, or that you account will be temporarily suspended, etc. These emails are bogus, and any attachments with them should absolutely NOT be opened, and they should be deleted ASAP. RR is aware of the issue and is taking measures to fix it. If you want further info or help, call the Road Runner national help desk for telephone support. DJVageli Posted June 6, 2005 CID Share Posted June 6, 2005 Yea Ive gotten the same thing but under Earthlink twice. It always tells me that my account is about to be terminated and that I should click on the link and reactivate my account.I knew it was a bunch of BS and when I went to support and showed them, they concluded by saying its true that its bogus and that I should not open the link.
