Normally I test between 2.6 and 3.2, my rated speed per charter is 3mb.I have charter pipeline and test it at least every couple of weeks, or when I notice a slow down. 3 days ago I noticed a slowdown. I called charter and they report no problems. The only thing I have changed is installing sp2. I have a Linksys modem (befcmu10), and a d-link router(di-704p), with 3 computers and a netgear (ps121) printserver. I always test good even when all computers are in use, now, the other 2 are off and I still am testing slow. I even bypassed the router with no change. Thanks for looking 1. RTB Posted August 30, 2004 CID Share Posted August 30, 2004 The only thing I have changed is installing sp2. Hmm, I wonder what the problem might be Try uninstalling SP2, and if that doesn't work, check for spyware. You should do that anyway
