gr8dane Posted June 26, 2005 CID Share Posted June 26, 2005 Is there any advantage or disadvantage (i.e. performance impact) to tweak my settings to the "plan rates" only? If I have a 4000/384 plan from my provider is there any harm done in using the Cablenut settings for say 6000/768? It doesn't appear to make any difference, so why not? One advantage I see is that in case Adelphia update my segment of their network from 4000 to 6000, I would "be ready" and not having to rely on them actually telling me they have upgraded.
