CA3LE Posted September 6, 2004 CID Share Posted September 6, 2004 Do me a favor and report your upload stats.. I just made a huge update to the upload test, alot more accurate. I found something huge that I have been over looking for quite some time. Like you to kinda beta test the accuracy for me.

Swimmer Posted September 20, 2004 Author CID Share Posted September 20, 2004 lol so now we have a list of people who you want to steal bandwidth from? that is great! we should have a donate bandwidth to RTB drive..
RTB Posted September 20, 2004 CID Share Posted September 20, 2004 You will see what happens to them... I won't be needing additional bindwifth btw, as long as that rumor from Chello is true. But it's still going to take months to upgrade. What I need is a smarter router than this one, I've looked all over the admin settings and there's no option for throttling. Whenever dad accesses the internet, all bandwidth is transferred to him.
luwigie Posted September 20, 2004 CID Share Posted September 20, 2004 Throw up a linux box as a router... Two nic cards. One connected to your broadband connection, and one to a switch.
Swimmer Posted September 20, 2004 Author CID Share Posted September 20, 2004 o just go out and get a linksys or dlink router... then throw the other one out the window.... the linksys box will work.. even a windows box will work!
