REV0LUTI0NIZED Posted July 10, 2005 CID Share Posted July 10, 2005 Alright guys once again im having issues with my Internet Connection, but is not the download giving me issues it is the upload. I had a Cox tech come to my house which he told me it was my Scientific Atlanta modem that was fluctuating my speeds so he changed it for the same brand. When he activated it like 5min minutes later it burned out so he changed it for a Motorola Surfboard SB5120 which helped my download but my upload just got worser. Now that I tracert websites on the 2 one it hits spikes 3 times in what ever website i use. But what gets me more confused that I have a great signal to my modem. Please give me any type information that you think might be causing this. Thanks Tracing route to Cox.net [68.1.17.9] over a maximum of 30 hops:

php Posted July 12, 2005 CID Share Posted July 12, 2005 your router/modem isn't responding to pings... what's the problem with that? also, it could be the first node doesn't accept pings...
