netmasta Posted July 21, 2005 CID Share Posted July 21, 2005 I've used the one from broadbandreports.com. I don't know how accurate those tests are on my WAP internet since You have to tell it when the file is done. It's not automatic.

netmasta Posted July 22, 2005 CID Share Posted July 22, 2005 My phone uses the "craptacular" WAP protocol. But I don't expect much from a phone with a 1 inch screen. It's a Nokia 3595, BTW.
Indestructable Posted July 26, 2005 CID Share Posted July 26, 2005 yeah, the wap doesnt work good for testmy.net....damon should make a mobile version of the site, lol...in his spare time! "What spare time???!!!" j/k dude. my dad's phone barely has enough memory to go to the bbr one, and I think if you have a camera phone/mobile you get a lot more memory. KingCobra Posted August 5, 2005 CID Share Posted August 5, 2005 To the best of my knowledge, Cingulars EDGE network does not go up to 1.5meg speeds.
wild1980thing Posted August 6, 2005 CID Share Posted August 6, 2005 My cingular phone has a burst speed of 1.5meg, but according to Cingular it's not supposed to be that fast. It's only a few places that is really fast. I travel allot and noticed that it varies allot down to 112 kbs. The average is about 300 kbs. However Cingular's GPRS coverage is pretty good and they don't advertise it. Talk to Cingular. The package I have cost $80 a month on top of my current cell plan. ( It is unlimited though.)
