lorne Posted July 31, 2005 CID Share Posted July 31, 2005 I am running a game server that uses Mysql and have been told that if i make another partition at the beginning of my drive and have that for the page file it will be a little faster and stable. Made the partition but how do i get the page file to use that partition?

php Posted July 31, 2005 CID Share Posted July 31, 2005 Right click on My Computer, click Properties, go to the Advanced tab, in the Performance section, click Settings, in the window that pops up, go to the Advanced tab, down in the Virtual memory box click Change, and you should be able to figure out what to do from there... if not, just ask ~php
