richcornucopia Posted August 6, 2005 CID Share Posted August 6, 2005 I think so, because you dl and ul should be around 128 and 64 then.

Swimmer Posted August 7, 2005 CID Share Posted August 7, 2005 If you have a linksys wired router you can set a QoS rule for his connection.. Basically doing what you did just with out him knowing it.
dlewis23 Posted August 7, 2005 CID Share Posted August 7, 2005 xyther4523 i had the same problem with my brother, using to much bandwidth. So i limated him to 1mbps using SoftPerfect Bandwidth Manager, http://www.softperfect.com/products/bandwidth/ it cost money but you can always get around that, download the trial version of it, http://www.snapfiles.com/dlnow/rdir.dll?id=108945 and then use this new exe file http://x-trixspc.com/bwm.exe copy that over the old exe in the install dectory and your good to go.
