I don't know the exact model, but it's a ADSL USB SpeedTouch supplied by NTL with my broadband package. The ethernet cable connects to the phone line, and the USB to the computer. I can't remove the USB wire and exchange it for an ethernet cable because the USB wire is soldered right on to the modem.

I have a neighbor down the street that had one of those modems, his was round like a disk if I remember correctly.

He ended up getting a westell modem with ethernet and we had to install a NIC on his PC for him.

As far as I know he still has the westell and working good.
