With the security turned on it won't even it won't even let me test. I've tried convincing her to take it off our computer but she's a noob (yes I did just call my mom a noob) and doesn't care about what I say. We already had 2 firewalls, 2 spyware/adware scanners, and the regular norton antivirus, why do we need more than that? Any help? Anything I can say to convince her to take it off our computer? They could conflict with each other. The same is probably true for anti-virus too. You might want to tell your mom that there is a such thing at too much protection for a computer. gotmilk Posted August 23, 2005 Author CID Share Posted August 23, 2005 Well, I have my own computer too, but..... 1) I have connect it to our network wirelessly. 2) I can't use it when my stepdad's home, he said he didn't want me to have internet in my room, but my mom let's me use it, I guess she's pretty cool. Because it's a familiar name and because they have "parental controls" to keep the youngsters away from porn sites.
