Comcast w/Linksys VoIP Router, 2nd PC, and PS2

I ran this test with my PC is still connected to a Linksys VoIP Router, 2nd PC, and a PS2. I pay $54.95/month.

Connection is:: 8733 Kbps about 8.7 Mbps (tested with 12160 kB)

Download Speed is:: 1066 kB/s

Tested From:: https://testmy.net/ (server2)

Test Time:: Sat Sep 10 2005 12:38:48 GMT-0500 (Central Daylight Time)

Bottom Line:: 156X faster than 56K 1MB download in 0.96 sec

Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 105.24 % faster than the average for host (comcast.net)

Anyway, those look good, but if your not using the other PC, the PS2 is offline and your not making any phone calls, you'll have that. Log the PS2 onto a game of NCAA Football 2006, start downloading a Linux ISO on the PC and have a long distance phone call with a relative in Japan and then see what your speeds are :D

i have used VOIP as in with skype and voipbuster

skype takes a solid 5kb up and down

and voipbuster to a normal land line tested call from UK to Portugal and Uk to USA and it always takes 10kb/s up and down weather u talking or not

i have not seen any thing above 10kb/s
