MICROWAVE Posted October 28, 2004 CID Share Posted October 28, 2004 Speedy Final, The place I would start is to see which modem my ISP recommends, and is there really a reason to replace??after I found that out I would make a decision if what that said is something I would want to use or not.A few years back a friend had a lot of modem trouble and his ISP said it was his modem causing the problem, so since my friend wasn't a tech kinda guy I suggested he buy one from them so if he had a problem it would be up to them to fix. As it turned out he never had anymore problems and as I remember the price was close to what he would have paid if he had bought it from another supplier.Of course as you know there are many good brands:) Microwave
