I had a 3 year old SB4100 which could not achieve the 6mips. Installed a Comcast Thomson TCM 425 and I am maintaining between 5 & 6mips down most of the time. Below is my latest test. :::.. Download Stats ..::: Connection is:: 6486 Kbps about 6.5 Mbps (tested with 12160 kB) Download Speed is:: 792 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net/ (server2) Test Time:: Sat Oct 08 2005 08:14:35 GMT-0400 (Eastern Daylight Time) Bottom Line:: 116X faster than 56K 1MB download in 1.29 sec Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 48.66 % faster than the average for host (comcast.net) Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-I82Y1WCU4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

anox195 Posted October 13, 2005 CID Share Posted October 13, 2005 yea, comcast is sweet, they offer a 4/384 plan but they only cap the upload... bc that plans dl's range from 4-8mbps i hope to switch to comcast soon, i like my 1mbps upload but, i just miss the quick downloads, plus sdsl is getting to expensive... if i do get comcast im going with the 6/768 plan...
