Well, going from 5000/768 to T1 isn't really much of an "upgrade" unless all you want is slower download speeds and about twice your current upload speed. A T1 is rated at roughly 1.54Mbps both up and down, so you aren't going to be faster than what you gave up, ever. Weren't you aware of this before your supposed upgrade or didn't you know these numbers in advance? I hope someone didn't tell you it would be faster.

to quote william shatner, compare /before/ you buy...

but seriously. your pings should be better with t1 than with cable. but the speed and how it is connected is sooooo different from your cable... you seriously didn't look into the specs and stuff before signing a 350 buck a month contract?

yeah, that T1 is running top of the line. you didnt really "upgrade" from cable.. in my opinion, it was more of a downgrade. I'm sure there are more packages from COX that will get your download and upload faster. Just ask around =) im sure you can get something better..

T1 is 1.5 mbps down by 1.5 mbps UP
