Dilatedpeoples28 Posted October 30, 2005 CID Share Posted October 30, 2005 thats gonna be a defenite desktop replacement cuz carrying that tank of a notebook is gonna be a pain. But none the less I am looking into a desktop replacement so i might just wait a little for a bigger screen.
Swimmer Posted October 30, 2005 CID Share Posted October 30, 2005 I have a 15.4 widesceen.. and it is huge! I have seen the 17 inch versions of my computer and they look like skate boards.. they are so long and wide.. Both are wide screen versions.. There has got to be a point at which batter life comes a factor.. I mean it has got to take energy to power such a big screen.
raptors892004 Posted October 30, 2005 CID Share Posted October 30, 2005 think of a big screen this way.. less watching of porn in social situations cuz everyone can see ya
Swimmer Posted October 30, 2005 CID Share Posted October 30, 2005 hahaha... unless the resolution is going up.. i am not interested in a bigger screen.. 1680x1050 is good enough for me!

raptors892004 Posted October 30, 2005 CID Share Posted October 30, 2005 if they don't make the screen foldable so it becomes normal laptop size then its a back-sized laptop.. that's where it goes to be portable
just- Posted October 30, 2005 Author CID Share Posted October 30, 2005 i think 20" will be the limit after that it will become to big to carry in any backpack i mean 20" is kind of big anyway for a start just pushing the limit
