i have the same system you do ,and had the same problem, try reinstalling soundcard software.

HAD the same problem i uninstall driver than reinstalled drivers,it work for me.

thanks for the welcome,about the coolwebsearch thing why does it try to install it self when i try to install IE 7 download? this is a spy-ware thing ,right? Microsoft anti-spy stop it every time but by doing that, i cannot install IE 7

does this download come with coolwebsearch, every time it try to startup Microsoft anti spy say coolwebsearch try to load up. is this normal?
