I think im going to stick with the new 5000/768 settings because not only is it awesome to start a dl with a 1.46MB/s burst but then it drops down slowly and stays at a pretty high rate of transfer. And BTW I did what u told me Van, I set the Tcp13230pts to 0 and both the Max and TCPWindowSize to 64240, so for now its great

Well I tried the new settings,picked the 5000/768 and for speed tests im not getting really good results for now.But downloading videos from other servers,the dl would start at 1.40MB/s and then drop to around 400-500KB/s.So I was like WOW!

Update to this site? Because I dont see any option like that

It looks good,but like all the others,including me,if this test was take now,its cached, I dont know why and how it caches but it does Eventhough yours doesnt look as obvious as the others

Where is that 5mb test your talking about I still see the 2992kb test

Well I just gave it a cold hard reboot and let it sit for about 3 minutes,and then reopened it and it seems to be working just fine for now,hasnt done this for awhile,I just hope it remains like this And BTW its a good thing its working for now because Reverend what u told me to do sounded very complicated, but at the same time I thank u for taking time to try and help me And resopalrabotnick I thank u too

Well like I said this is on the laptop where I dont p2p anyway,too small of a HD,and the reason im reformatting is because I think somethings wrong.Everytime I try to go to My Computer,My Documents or anything else besides the internet I would get a message saying "Windows has encountered a problem and needs to be shut down" and then everything on the screen will disappear for a few secs. and then go back to the desktop

So this cd will come with XP Pro and sp2 in one? If so thanks ,and I also want to thank all who helped me try and get through this problem Also is there anyway i can get a cd with XP pro alone or is that how it comes bundled up together?

Ok well good thing i havent done anything yet,this has got me to wonder what to do,and btw how exactly do I get the cd that comes with sp2,eventhough im skeptical of installing sp2 on my laptop,because i already have it on my pc

Im about to reformat my laptop because it is giving me major problems.It has XP Home Edition SP2,im gonna install XP Pro on it,should I get SP2 on it also or leave it alone,and will it affect anything if I keep it normal without SP2?
