Thats a pretty good route u have to it,so I know ur speed is affected by your ISP

When u mean tweaked, u mean going to Tools and then clicking on tweak network settings?

Click on START-then go to RUN then type in cmd hit enter,then on that black screen type this exactly: tracert testmy.net

So then this is something at your ISP's end not yours. BTW run a tracert to testmy.net and show us what u get

Well for me,Firefox is only installed on my laptop and it averages around 4.8Mbps,while on my PC I use Avant but also take tests with IE,and just until recently IE was faster while taking tests,but now with Avant I average 5.1-5.3Mbps so I have no idea which is faster while taking speed tests.But I know when I download files Firefox is faster,atleast in the beginning,with downloads starting at 1500KB/s. I just took a test with Firefox and got this,so its very confusing,all my browsers have their moments :::.. I think it was my router,because on the laptop I couldnt even get on at all on the internet,I had like a limited connection on my lan,so I recycled my router and everything is back to normal A router can do that?
