    :(  The key phrase with ALL ISP's is "Speeds UP to XXX" I don't believe there is any guarantee for any connection, at least I have never seen it in writing. This is one of those issues that must be taken up the chain of command to get any real answers or to maybe get a speed increase, and only if its possible and if someone with the company wants to address your problem....sorry but these are the facts, but don't just give up do anything and everything you can to get some answers and a remedy to your problem if there is one..... good luck and let us know....

    ;) The point of privacy is that what may be acceptable today will be "BAD" tomorrow. In the recent century that just passed for example all governments that have made their citzens register the guns when they were "legal" used that information  to take them away at a later date. The best example I can use is Nazi Germany, and even worse if you read the gun laws from the good ole U.S.A. from 1968 you will see that this "law" was almost an exact replica from their (Germany's) law. I know most ppl are not interested in History but the sad truth is that it does repeat itself because ppl don't care to make themselves  aware of it.To me thats why each so called "right " that we have is important that it not be allowed to be taken away........even the one's I dont like, of course this is just my opinion I could be wrong!!!.......but it is very easy for ppl 2c for themselves, if only they cared. Usually when it affects the average person it has gone way to far to stop and it's to late because the party is already over...... Meh but who really cares about a unimportant thing like privacy......... I DO!!!

    ;) Hijackthis is for when you browser has been jacked or a stubborn toolbar that spyware has installed can be removed.....it doesnt really tell you whats good or bad its up 2u what you remove, it is a very good tool and easy to remove B.S. from the Reg...as always caution must be used, and it has become a much more diverse tool since the first version........... it will easily remove scumware that others cant, but it is limited as they all are....... :) It also can I.D. trojans and worms but doesnt do anything to resolve issues with Virus's............................. :idea:

    ;) And it has been around a long time only not used this way. The first time I worked with FO was in 1970 it was being used in a machine that I was helping to build . The machine was used to make the photos used for print media for newspapers.... :)

    oh yea,, does anyone know if its illegal to download fansubs of anime? thats what i mainly use bittorrent for, because america doesnt get everything Asia does, so the good ppl @ Asia record episodes and put subtitles on them, and im pretty sure that recording stuff from TV is legal, and as long as ur not charging ppl, u can distribute it

    but just wanted to make sure :)

    (btw, the animes i download are not the 'copyrighted' americanized ones....i get the real deal, in japanese ones...)

    ;) The best way 2no is if it has a copyright statement it may not be.....or if the person that owns the rights doesnt care its OK, most all of the dont care stuff is in the public domain....things coming from other countries have their own laws and if its not against their law there then generally its allowed by our government as long as it wasnt stolen from someone or a corp... Ya might be able to tell from the site that you are downloading from....
